Packaging: Direct to Consumer Sprints

As an internal Brand Designer at BuzzFeed I had several opportunities to work as an agency partner to our clients in Design Sprints. Brands like Diageo, in the video example (right) Maybelline, P&G, Home Depot, Scotts Miracle Gro and more have worked with us in a sprint format for a week to come up with a solution to a problem they have with a BuzzFeed-lens. From how to get millennials into gardening, which created the DTC brand Lunarly, to creating next summer's trendiest beverage– we worked from square one to multiple full-fledged business and design proposals with prototypes in five days. For every sprint the products would be different but the process was always the same: super collaborative, really fast and very rewarding.
